CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS AT HERITAGE HILL HISTORICAL PARK

CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS AT HERITAGE HILL HISTORICAL PARK

LAKE FOREST, C.A. – The County of Orange and OC Parks invite you to experience the traditions of the holidays at Heritage Hill Historical Park this winter season. December 7-9 will welcome the park’s 33rd Annual Candlelight Walk.

Join us for three enchanted evenings and experience the historic park in a unique way that only happens once a year. Hundreds of luminarias will light the park’s pathways as strolling carolers and musicians fill the night air with seasonal music. The historical buildings will be aglow with Christmas lights and holiday decoration and will be staffed with docents to share each building’s history. Children can visit with Santa in the Arbor, enjoy crafts with Mrs. Claus, watch puppet shows in the Wagon Wheel Corral, and sit at a school desk while storytellers from OC Public Libraries spin holiday tales in the one-room El Toro Grammar School.  Visitors will enjoy historic holiday radio shows as they tour the 1930s Bennett Ranch house and can listen to a Spanish guitarist in the 1863 Serrano Adobe. There will also be musical entertainment in the 1891 St. George’s Episcopal Mission.  Hot chocolate, apple cider, popcorn and cookies will be available for purchase.

Admission for this event is $5 for ages 3 and over (children under 3 are free). Tickets are sold at the park gate on the day of the event.  Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with OC Parks at Heritage Hill Historical Park.
