Campland on the Bay and Mission Bay RV Resort Contribute $32,000 to Local Charities Through Campland Cares

Campland on the Bay and Mission Bay RV Resort are proud to celebrate the close of 2022 by donating $32,000 to local charities and non-profit organizations in San Diego County through the RV resorts’ camper-participation charitable giving program, Campland Cares.

“Through our Campland Cares program which raises funds with voluntary donations from our incredible campers, we have the privilege of supporting meaningful and diverse local causes that are making a difference in our community,” said Jacob Gelfand, Chief Operating Officer of Terra Vista Management, Inc.

As San Diego’s iconic family-friendly resort campgrounds providing affordable RV and tent camping along the shores of Mission Bay for more than 50 years, Campland on the Bay and Mission Bay RV Resort are honored to support local wildlife, environmental and humanitarian efforts. Contributions have been made to the San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter that is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people; Discover Pacific Beach to revitalize and promote the Pacific Beach community, both physically and economically; and I Love A Clean San Diego which focuses on creating zero waste lifestyles and zero litter throughout San Diego County.

A beloved destination for members of the community of all ages and from all walks of life, Campland and Mission Bay RV Resort are honored to also support multiple causes that benefit those who are underserved. These organizations include Mid-City CAN, an advocacy group that gathers teams of volunteers to accomplish community goals such as juvenile justice, voter registration and improved transportation; Promises2Kids which is dedicated to creating a brighter future for local foster youth; Ocean Discovery Institute which empowers and inspires the next generation of science leaders by creating learning experiences for young people traditionally excluded from science due to race, income status, and educational opportunity; Young and Prosperous Foundation to provide resources to youth and educational development in underserved San Diego communities; San Diego Food Bank to provide nutritious food to individuals and families in need; and Project New Village which is dedicated to improving fresh food access and stimulating better health in Southeastern San Diego.
