PR, Marketing & Events for OC Parks

ACE has supported the public relations and marketing initiatives of OC Parks since 2009. OC Parks manages nearly 60,000 acres of parks, historical and coastal facilities and open space for the County of Orange as part of OC Community Resources. ACE's scope of work includes the development of press material, media communication, management of media related events, social media strategy, marketing, and reporting on all communication.


ACE collaborated with OC Parks to develop new virtual events and activities to connect the community socially.
ACE led the brand ID, programming, design, video editing, marketing, and public relations for OC Parks Sound Check, a weekly virtual concert series, among other regularly scheduled virtual programs developed. Through a strategic launch plan, the series generated strong regional media coverage and the first concert event garnered tens of thousands in audience views on social media.


ACE manages the OC Parks Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema Series, leading the event production, public relations and marketing for each series.
The free concerts and movie screenings at regional parks across the county, draw upwards of thousands in attendance per event. The concerts have presented performances by Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, JR JR, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, The English Beat and Donavon Frankenreiter among other major artists. Each event offers concessions, food trucks, activities and vendor opportunities.
