Pepper to Headline The Queen Mary’s Shoreline Jam Aug. 31

3rd Annual Music Festival Presents Top World Artists Performing at the Beautiful Waterfront Park

 

The Queen Mary is pleased to announce that reggae rock sensation, Pepper, will headline the 3rd annual Shoreline Jam festival on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at the beautiful waterfront park in front of the historic ship. In addition to Pepper, top reggae, world, rock and pop artists will take the stage including Clear Conscience and Ethan Tucker. More special guest performances will be announced in July.

Pepper formed in Kona, Hawaii in 1997 and since has toured extensively with groups like 311, Slightly Stoopid and Sublime with Rome and spent multiple summers on Vans Warped Tour. The band’s music, both live and recorded, embodies a sense of the sand and sun and is truly about enjoying life’s experiences. Pepper will release a self-titled sixth studio album in 2013. Blending reggae, rock and hip-hop, Oakland-based Clear Conscience has produced nine studio albums to date and regularly shares the stage with some of the top names in California Reggae. Folk and reggae influenced singer-songwriter Ethan Tucker joins the festival lineup from Washington State and has been performing at venues and festivals across the U.S. since age 16. More top artists, special guests and local talent performing at Shoreline Jam will be announced later in July.

Specialty food vendors will be serving on-site throughout the festival. Event sponsors Heineken beer and BACARDI signature cocktails will be available at both the main and VIP bars. A vendor village will showcase local retailers with novelty items available for purchase.

Shoreline Jam doors will open to the public at 1:30 p.m. The live music will kick off at 2 p.m. and continue until 11:30 p.m. General admission tickets for Shoreline Jam are $25 in advance online and $35 at the door day of the festival. VIP tickets are $75 in advance online and $100 day of show. VIP tickets include complimentary parking, priority entrance, access to the VIP lounge and private bar, 2 drink tickets per ticket holder and front row concert access.
