The Queen Mary’s Ships & Giggles Comedy Night returns to The Observation Bar & Art Deco Lounge on Monday, July 10. Laugh the Monday ‘blues’ away with cocktails and great company with some of Southern California’s funniest comedians. Hosted by world-renowned comic, Rocco Stowe, July’s showcase features top comedians including Brian Moses, Scott Silverman, Forrest Shaw, Dave Williamson, and Esther Ku.
WHO:
Headlining the July 10 Ships & Giggles Comedy Night is international touring stand-up comedian Esther Ku. Known for her appearances on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, MTV’s Girl Code, and Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out, Ku currently travels the world entertaining audiences with her bratty charm and infamous maniacal laugh.
Dave Williamson has opened for well-known comics such as Jim Gaffigan, Lewis Black, and Jimmy Fallon. Williamson won entry into the 2011 Boston Comedy Festival by placing 3rd in the New York competition, beating out 80 other comics and made his National TV Stand Up debut on NickMom Night Out.
Forrest Shaw, who made his television debut on Conan in 2014, is a marine biologist turned stand-up comedian and delivers his shtick with an intriguingly unique perspective on life. Shaw is also a co-writer and lead actor of the award-winning web series Labor Days.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Scott Silverman, has opened sold-out tours for Margaret Cho and appeared on several television shows, including Comedy Central’s Out There 2 and A&E’s An Evening at The Improv.
Brian Moses regularly performs at The Comedy Store, was a finalist in Orange County’s Funniest Person Competition and has opened for several star comedians including Cheech & Chong, Sarah Silverman, and Bill Burr.
